124 Elm Grove

Brighton, BN2 3DB

Our second shop is located on Elm Grove, east of The Level and in the heart of the Hanover area of Brighton. We have made it our mission to bring some of the same Sydney Street Bakery magic to our second location and look forward to serving many new customers in this vibrant and colourful community

Like all Flour Pot locations, the Elm Grove Bakery serves bread that is prepared and baked fresh seven days a week, along with all of our cakes and savouries, which arrive directly from our central bakery and kitchen every morning.

Our most intimate site, but still bursting with all the usual Flour Pot goodies, we are blessed with a fantastic terrace to catch the sun whilst enjoying a carefully crafted flat white coffee and a life affirming slice of hummingbird cake.

We are now firmly settled in the heart of this jewel of a neighbourhood, and we are loving getting to know all the locals. Come and say hi!

Brighton BN1 6FJ

Our third shop is located in the residential community of Fiveways, to the north of the city. Next to Blakers Park and a short walk to Preston Park, we have all you need for a day away from the hustle and bustle of city life – grab some lunch of focaccia and ciabatta rolls filled with a glorious array of hand-picked products, daily fresh baked pork and fennel sausage rolls, pizza slices or goats’ cheese and beetroot topped flatbread.

Come first thing in the morning and start your day with a toasted breakfast bun of bacon or sausage and a pot of the finest quality Prince & Sons tea, or choose one of our delectable pastries made that morning by our skilled pastry chefs and grab a latte from one of our trained baristas.

We are now well and truly up and running; we love being in the area and getting to know our new customers and all of our local businesses. We have a mezzanine at the back of the shop and now outside seating where you can sit and watch the world go by.

Bring your dog too while you’re out for a walk, everyone’s welcome at The Flour Pot!

41 First Avenue

Hove BN3 2FH

Our latest store opened its doors this summer, to a great welcome from the residents of Hove. Our largest store to date, we are home to  some of the most classic and instantly recognisable Flour Pot interiors- our beautiful copper lighting, our simple, clean aesthetic and our distinctive black and white checked floor tiles.

Our sun trap of a terrace is open from 8am weekdays and Saturdays, where we serve freshly roasted Caravan coffee, our latest addition to the Flour Pot family. We also sell our freshly baked bread seven days a week, as well as our famous banana bread (have you tried this toasted yet, with butter?), our hard to beat carrot cake and our usual selection of fresh breakfast pastries.

We are introducing our ‘grab n go’ fridge with some fresh salad ideas and take away sandwiches for those on the move. We are also looking forward to winter with some seasonal soups and casseroles to keep you warm in our cosy cafe. Like all of our stores, we welcome families and well-behaved dogs. Come and visit us soon!

141 Dyke Road

Brighton BN3 1TJ

We would like to introduce our latest Flour Pot Bakery and Coffee shop, situated on the corner of Melville and Dyke Rd in the heart of Brighton’s bustling Seven Dials.

The area has undergone a transformation in recent years and as you might expect we have been waiting for the right site to come up in the area. What this site lacks in floor space, it makes up for with Flour Pot character and wonderful natural light. We love it!

There is a number of great businesses dotted around us and there is a really special community spirit at Seven Dials which is also home to the biggest and one of the most successful Sixth Form College’s in the city, BHASVIC.

Our mission to bring the community bakery back is now officially alive and well at Seven Dials. Please feel free to come visit us sometime.

Rumour has it

What our lovely customers are saying about us

Always an extremely pleasant and helpful team of staff at Hove and a superb product! The new coffee is to die for and the breads and pastries are simply divine. I really should stop eating pastry because of the waistline, but “donut Friday” is just my weakness!
Marc Edwards on Instagram

“Bread is my kryptonite, especially really good bread, so it’s difficult to describe the mix of horror and ecstasy that washed over me as I spied this recent addition to the North Laines. I could see our torrid romance flash before my eyes — I want you, but you’re no good for me, oh my god you’re amazing, oh my god I regret everything. And that’s basically how it went down…”

“Thought I’d drop you a line to tell you how much I enjoyed my club baguette for lunch today. I went out looking for a new sandwich place being fed up with the supermarkets and determined to ‘buy local’ going forward. I honestly have not had a tastier baguette for a long, long time. And the raspberry friand was delicious too. The bread was out of this world! And your staff were very friendly too.

I believe in praise for local produce and local business, so well done and thanks! I will return for more…”
